Check your feeders regularly

It is important that you are checking on your game cameras and feeders on a regular basis. You never know when your timer, or more often a battery will fail, and there is nothing worse than getting in your blind and waiting for the feeder to go off, but it never does. A great way to extend the time the battery lasts is to add a solar charger a (6V or 12V) and matching with a correct battery (6V or 12V). When you install a solar charger to make sure that it is receiving full sunlight or charging will be affected. Also, I like to run a test spin when checking the battery, just to make sure the battery, timer and motor are working properly. I generally carry an extra timer and battery (or two) with me just in case.
